Tips for Coloring Iguanas

When I color, I stick with colored pencils and a few fine-tip markers. One time, I used a shiny gel pen for the iguana’s spikes, and it looked like it had been sprinkled with magic dust! ✨

Choosing Your Colors

Iguanas come in lots of colors, from bright greens to cool blues. I once made a neon iguana that looked like it was straight out of a video game! My little cousin thought it was hilarious and tried making an even crazier version. So go ahead, mix up some wild colors and have fun with it!

Fun Facts About Iguanas

Did you know iguanas have a tiny “third eye” on the top of their heads? It helps them spot predators. I told my nephew about it, and he drew his iguana with a superhero cape and called it “The Watcher.” Also, iguanas can puff up their bodies to look bigger—kind of like how a balloon puffs up when you blow it up!

A Personal Story

Once, I tried to make an iguana with all sorts of colors, and it ended up looking like a tie-dye party! My niece saw it and laughed so hard she wanted to make her own rainbow iguana too. So while you’re coloring, imagine your iguana going on wild adventures and having a blast. It makes the whole thing way more fun!
