Tips for Coloring Sloth

For the best results, grab some quality colored pencils or gel pens. One time, I tried using glitter markers, and let's just say my sloth ended up looking like it was ready for a disco party. It was... something else!

Sloths typically have earthy tones like browns and greys, but don’t let that stop you from getting creative! Once, I made a sloth rainbow-colored, and my little brother decided it looked like it was from a tropical paradise. Why not?

Fun Facts

Did you know sloths can rotate their heads almost 270 degrees? They’ve got moves like a yoga master! I shared this fun fact with my cousin, and he insisted on giving our sloth a yoga mat and headband in the coloring page—totally zen.

Inspiration from Pop Culture

If you’ve seen the movie Zootopia, you’ll remember Flash, the hilariously slow DMV worker. Inspired by Flash, I once tried coloring a sloth as if it were wearing a suit and tie. My friend said it looked like the sloth was ready for a job interview!

My Story

I once had a "sloth day" where I moved so slowly that my friends joked I was channeling my inner sloth. I shared this with my niece while we colored, and we laughed about how sloths would probably be great at taking their time with everything, even coloring!
